The Difference between Quadro and Tesla?
Go to solution
Solved by thekeemo,
the tesla doesnt have any outputs
Quadro - This is the workstation version. Higher priced. This is meant for corporate customers, so it is better tested, more memory, etc. This is the highest quality chips. And since they are higher priced, NVIDIA offers better support, easier exchanges etc.
Tesla - This is the range that is focused on HPC. With no video output. This is intended for people using CUDA.
so in essence a tesla is for computing
a quadro is for computing and showing stuff
you would have to use another card to be able to use the tesla I know people that have gtx 750's with teslas just so they can display
