How would I do that?

Thread one spot a little bit(just enough to hold it) and then go diagonally over to another screw and lightly thread that one through. Do the same thing for the other ones as well. Once you've done that, you can start threading the screws all the way through.

I would even continue to alternate corner to corner until they are all tight just to be safe. But your mileage may vary on this.
