Cpu air cooler with replaceable fan

Go to solution Solved by RazerZ,

Since your motherboard has a poor thermal design and struggles to handle a high TDP processor under load (read this: http://www.tomshardware.com/forum/330572-30-970a-warning),

I would recommend a top-down/ down-draft style cooler which blows cold air directly over your VRMS and will prevent the MOSFET from over heating and causing throttling issues.

These two coolers showed good results, as tested in one of tom's hardware's reviews:

Enermax's ETD-T60-VD

and

Scythe's SCKC-2100

Both have replaceable fans.

Hello,

My current cpu cooling Setup is very loud, the fan itself is vibrating because it´s a very cheap fan (the preinstalled one). If the cooler is alowing that i would like to install a bequiet pure wings 2 because of the Bang for your buck ratio also its very quiet and efficient for cooling things. Price isnt that important. And if its possible it should be for am3+ to cool my amd fx 8350 which is a very hot cpu.

Thats why im asking.

Is there any good CPU Cooler with replaceable fans?

Thx in advance ^^

Edit. Iam using a msi97a g46 Motherboard

There are lots out there...

Practically all of the ones that use a 120mm or 140mm fan that doesn't have some fancy shroud, can have their fan(s) replaced.

Hyper 212 Evo, Noctua's NH-D14, NH-U14S and NH-D15 are some of the more popular ones. They all work on the AM3+ socket.

If your case doesn't have space for those giant heatsinks or you don't like their looks, you can spend a little more for 140mm/240mm/280mm AIO water coolers instead.

Allright thx for your advice gonna take a look at the 212 Evo.
