Can i just say i really didn't expect the community to be like this? i thought most of you would be snobby prepubescent kids having AMD Vs Intell wars and PC vs Mac wars daily and this whole forum being a big flame war.

And its not. Most (or all from what ive seen) are really well mannered. know what you're talking about and aren't jerks when someone doesn't know something as simple as installing a mouse driver when windows doesn't do it. i am REALLY blown away with you all. so give yourselves a nice pat on the back.

This forum is nothing like toms hardware. where i felt incredibly knowledgeable. but here i feel like im a noob with computers again. which is good. i wanna learn more. and you all are teaching me. maybe not directly but im learning. and all thats gonna do is help me help others when i repair or help them with their own builds locally.

 

 

So really. you guys are awesome. and thank you for all the advice,help, and quick responses. some of you have responses faster then my damn ping.

Actually im not much into anime. but you aren't the first to suggest it. I guess its because of my weeaboo name.

Thats all i wanna do is learn more about computers.  mostly windows as thats what people use more. but i could use a good bit of information on macs.

Even if the war's do go on. i havnt seen them. and if i have seen them and didn't notice it. thats even more wonderful because of how calmly it was addressed.

Again. this is literally the best forum ive been on. couldn't ask for better people.

Occasionally the Intel vs amd fires start up here, but usually they fall away pretty quick, a few exceptions in mind.

But much like you I joined full hearted expecting the worst from what I had though would be elitist snobs with 20,000 dollar computers. Sure, there are a couple people here on the forums with beyond earthly monstrous machines, cough Prast, cough dual k80s, but none of them are elitists in the slightest, the majority actually seeming to be really nice guys.

I have to agree. I'm loving this place. It's full of well educated people who respond quickly. You don't get to see that a lot in forums.

The news section is just fine, apart from the handful of users who simply troll every thread and post off topic shitposts and in general resort to straw man arguments that derail threads badly.

It's a great place for discussion, just get used to blocking people who like to shit on the parade of good times.
