Processor fro GTX 750ti

Go to solution Solved by TheSLSAMG,

I'd suggest an Intel Core i3 4150 and an MSI H81M-P33.

CPU: Intel Core i3-4150 3.5GHz Dual-Core Processor  ($108.99 @ NCIX US)
Motherboard: MSI H81M-P33 Micro ATX LGA1150 Motherboard  ($42.98 @ Newegg)
Total: $151.97

This combo will perform fine for the GTX 750 Ti with no real bottleneck while not spending too much money. Dual monitors should be perfectly fine, I'd suggest you get 8GB of RAM along with this since I personally believe that 8GB is the sweet spot for gaming. You can spend more on a Z97 motherboard to upgrade to an i7 or i5 in the future, or get an i5 now. However, there will not be that significant of a benefit with that GPU going from an i3 to an i5.

Hello I got a PC from a friend and these are the specs, Pentium Dual Core E5800 3.2GHz 4GB RAM 500GB HDD Geforce GTX750 Ti Windows 7 Professional 64bit. I play alot of Counter Strike Global Offensive and I need another monitor too. I was planning on getting the Acer 27" LED XB270H 144hz or the BenQ 24" XL2411Z 144hz, right now I have the Philips 27" 273E3LHSB. And I really need a new processor I was thinking of getting a i5 or i3 but would this be able to run like counter strike and watching twitch or youtube at the same time? I really need to get a motherboard too, my budget is 230USD and as said for that amount I need a good processor and a good motherboard and please tell me if this system would be able to handle 2 monitors or is there anything I need to further upgrade to do that? Thank you for helping me and have a good day ;)

i3 4130 + h81 board should be enough to suit your needs while offering great performance

Hm... I would say Pentium G3258, and a Z97 board like the asrock z97 pro3. Will give you a upgrade path.

Is it bad that my dream setup only costs a few thousand not counting the obutto?
