Can a GTX 770 (DC2OC) maintain 60FPS on Planet Side 2 in 1440P maxed?

I don't think there is any game that a 780 will not destroy at 1440p. 770 sli would also destroy anything you throw at it.

780 is a beast of a hardware that can handle anytin, no argue 780 will give you above 60 fps on max easly

Again, Planet Side 2 is CPU intensive. You can have 300 fps at some place and dip into 30fps on large scale battle because of CPU bottleneck. GPU usage will be very low that time.

I have a GTX 470 that is basically a 660 TI  because of the OC I got goin, and honestly I get weird FPS in the game. Depending on the situation or where I am, my FPS can be GREAT or SHIT. And it doesn't even seem to be consistently good or bad depending on the area. Also, a lot of the time my GPU % isn't even over 80%, sometimes it just sits around 60%... Bad code? I am not sure, either way I am sure a 770 would do a much better job as it will just have more horsepower to throw around

A 470 is not even close to the performance of a 660 Ti, even with an OC... A 580 is slightly worse than a 660 Ti in most games by the way...

770 sli or 780. Take your pick. 770 sli would destroy planet side 2, even at 1440p. 780 would do well.

I'm just gonna get the Asus DCUii 780 when it comes out or overclock the hell out of a 770

780 uses a new gpu where as 770 does not wait for the 780 and than OC the hell out of that

i can help you with OC in the 780 cause TİTAN and 780 s are pretty much same and i got 1.1ghz with the titan...

Downsampling is the closest thing to "Overclocking" your monitor I've seen :p

My 470 performs about at a 580 level, so like I said, it is close ;)
