I personally like this type service because it can get rid of free play games/simple games/puzzle games and my internet service is at 750 yen or 6.18 usd month and get 200 mbps. So i can see these type of services in Asia/Europe succeed. Also it has potential to crush console gaming

I was able to play the Beta from Surrey BC Canada with 25 some ping and unnoticeable latency.

Although, i'd be happy if  you could get a extra copy of a game to play locally...

I don't want to see game streaming being a thing right now cuz internet that can support it is not affordable in many places and I sure as heck am not interested in a near future where all gaming is streamed.  Also quite frankly I still want the opportunity at times to own my games.

Too many ****ing games!  Back log 4 life! :S

One word, Australia. Even with fibre, the internet here is still horrible, and for anyone to make a new service, they have to go through Telstra, which means lower speeds; because either net neutrality doesn't cover it or net neutrality just doesn't apply in Australia. Not to mention you pay $100 for a 100gb data cap

I can see this getting rid of pesky free to play games that try to milk costumers and 720p/900p consoles in places where there is fiber optic internet service is available but where i live copper/dsl is the only affordable option, cable internet is too expensive and like you said it latency is too high for any gaming streaming service.
