Unnidealse Chrome Extension malware

timemachine
Go to solution Solved by MrBucket101,

I might go that route. Would I need the orignal CD for that? My ex Boss gave me a copy of win8 but he only had one CD (multiple keys).

if win8/8.1 is already installed then you don't need anything extra, I forget where the option is located exactly, I usually just search for the word reset

Hey boys and girls . my computer got infected with the UnniDealse Malware...

Anyone have any success on removing it?

Just reinstall your OS

win8/8.1 has a reset/refresh feature, you could use that instead

Right click your chrome shortcut and go to properties and see the link it's going to, if it's not something like "C:\Program Files (x86)\Google\Chrome\Application\chrome.exe", you should delete the shortcut.

They sometimes get hijacked so it reinstalls the extension every time.

Ill give this a shot before I reset. Thanks!
