Finally posting some pictures of my build. Its the first gaming PC I've had in over 6 Years, So finally decided to get building.

Also a big part of this was for the Racing Sim to help with my Karting as well as general love of racing.

i5- 4690K

MSI Z97 Gaming 5

MSI GTX970 Gaming

Corsair Vengeance Pro 2400Mhz 2x 4Gb

Corsair Neutron GTX 240

Antec EDGE 650watt

NZXT S340

Logitech G27

To buy the sim stands these days are just so expensive for bad quality ones. So made my own one and cost WAY WAY less. Just needs some paint.

Since than I have got a few more fans into the case, as well as Lights and even sleeved cables for the Graphics card.

And the room its in.. Man really need to paint the Sim stand. 

 

Till the New CPU cooler Choice can be made, thats it for now.

In all seriousness, this is a really good idea that I would do myself if I had the space. I recommend putting racing stripes on it as well, we all know things go faster with racing stripes.

@Thorium19 Thanks man, Yeah racing strips are a must ! ! I just want to try close up the far side and move the gear leaver to a more natural position.

Look in the shadows of the bottom right, there's a Mac pro G5 there, so a little better than a G4

Finally Got round to painting the Rig, And damn so happy with how it turned out. 

 

 

@Thorium19 There are your racing stripes. 

 

Also ordered myself a Oculas Rift for the sim after playing on a friends one. Man really blown away with it. 

 

So will have some proper pics of the PC coming up soon.

Realized I missed showing a Step with the Sim stand. 

 

This was when i did the second stage on it. Re did the pedals and added the Gear mount. 

excuse the clothes in the background was raining a ton.

Update, 

 

Moved the LED lights, Looks way way more "Natural" lighting now, now bright lights shouting in your face

 

Also ordered today a 32Gb M.2 SSD. So will move the OS only onto that. and than bobs your uncle free up my 240 SSD purely for games.
