This build is including peripherals, os, shipping and taxes. I need the total down to around $2000. Any suggestions are welcome.

Thanks.

I might go for a cheaper psu and a cheaper monitor.

Laptop - Lenovo Y50   Keyboard - Corsair K95 RGB Cherry MX Brown   Mouse - Logitech G502 Proteus Core   Mousepad - Razer Firefly

If you don't mind not able to OC, change the CPU and MOBO. Then also find a cheaper monitor. Total price will be way cheaper than now.

I will be over-clocking with this build. I really want a 144hz monitor but does it make a big difference? If not, il probably get a much cheaper one.

Prices are terrible in Canada right now. When I bought my PC months ago I got a 4690K for $220 and a 290 for $240. A bunch of other stuff for cheaper. You could save about $200 with a 60Hz monitor. I didn't add peripherals and that stuff because it's more personal preference than anything.

I like your build. But if you must cut here are a few suggestions.

The Asus Z97-E is SLI capable and has a similar feature set to the Z97-A.

The Arc 100 is a decent ssd.

The differences between gpu is reasonably small.

A less expensive case.

If you need to cut more, then go with a decent but less expensive psu. The Seasonic G 550 is much better and I wouldn't change it unless it was necessary. The CX-600M is decent for the price. You should be able to shave a few $ on the optical drive if you peruse merchant web sites.

80+ ratings certify electrical efficiency. Not quality.
