i7 or i5?

So i have a amd phenom 2 x4 965 cpu and i want to upgrade to an intel i7 4790k or an i5 4690k. The question is, which one should i get? I know the i7 is great for hard video editing and rendering but i heard it can also help me out when i go live on twitch and streaming in HD. Consider the fact that when i look up many popular or semi popular streamers they have an i7. 

 

I only use my computer for Youtube, Netflex, Gaming (ARMA 3, DAYZ, A3L, War thunder) and a little photoshop and making a video every so often. So should i save the 100$? or go big and just get an i7 and stay protected from, dare me say it.... the LAG!  :wacko:

 

Also, if you are going to ask me for a budget don't worry, i can always save up.

Personally, I went with an i7, not a huge difference but I made my pc with parts I thought would be relevant in the futre. It's up to you, i7 currently only benifits multitasking rendering and bf4.

Yes, i was thinking of going a more safer rout. Considering i no longer have a budget all i can do is save, save until i get the money. Also if you can what motherboard should i get as well to pare with the i7?

Whatever mobo fits what you want (sata, m.2? Fancy leds, other random features) from generally a reputable brand such as msi or asus.
