I want to order an 1920x1080 monitor for my ps4 and i wonder if im gonna have any problems with games that run at a lower res than 1080p on ps4.

No, you won't because the PS4 does most games at 900p or 1080p.

not really it might be bit blurred in some games but most PS4 owners have a 1080p TV

we do have a few games that are 60 fps now like cod and more of the newer titles releaseing will start to be above 30 fps to the best of my knowledge.

no there wont be any problem the resolution will be downscaled to match the output given by the ps4 and since its a small screen u wont be noticing much diffrence from 1080p or 900p(atleast for me

Such a quick response. Thank you guys.As for the 30 fps thing idk what to say....i played gta 5 a few months ago on xbox 360 wich is an old console and i found it very playable in my opinion.Thx again!

I have a PS4 and a 1080p TV.

 

Even when some games are 720p or 900p, cos it's a console i usually sit about 2-3 meters back.. i don't even notice jaggies on the screen.

Contrary to common belief, the majority of PS4 titles presently render natively at 1920x1080 with a decent number of titles even targeting 60fps.

 

For games which render at a lower resolution, they will appear on your monitor fine. The console will upscale the image to fit the output resolution, so you shouldn't have any issues other than the slightly lower image quality inherent to games being rendered at a lower resolution.

Less of the blurry interpolation on consoles, compared to PC running a lower than native res will make it look blurry as fuck.

 

Then again I sit within a ft of my panel, and couch gamers notice this WAY less being 5-8ft away.

There are no 720p games on PS4. The lowest resolution a PS4 game is 900p, and TEW's odd 1600x768?
