I dont see how this is over kill?

Yep, I agree with you, not overkill at all......'sides, the Apple KB kind of ruined the look for me.  BTW, initially, when I first tried EyeFinity Surround gaming a pair of HD5870's + the three monitors I'm using now, I did feel somewhat quesy, and did get mild headaches....but, they soon wore off as I adjusted to surround gaming. I've gotten so used to EF surround gaming that, if a game does not support surround mode, I kind of lose interest in it real fast.

As for Greens vs Blue, I have both, typing on a Trigger Green on my main rig, and a DS II Special Ed with Blue, I like the Greens over Blues when it comes to typing. The feel of Greens is closer to buckling spring, but buckling spring has a unique indefinable feel to it. And yes, I do have a Model M too, it's now stored as part of my collection.

I also have been using a mac keyboard because the size, distance to press and spacing its identical to my laptop, so transitioning from my desk at work, to my laptop on site there is no adjustment.

My friend got a Blackwidow Ultimate in March and it is a solid keyboard. Im not a typing enthusiast but I am looking at the cmstorm keyboards because they are affordable. I guess if I get a cheaper one and I don't like it I could just buy another one.

I noticed just now that the "W" key on the apple keyboard is starting to go. Now I actually want a new KB

Tons of people say bad crap about razer, but I've had my black widow ultimate 2013 stealth for 4+ months now and I haven't had a single issue with it, it has MX browns and I love it.  I also have a razer 2012 mamba, no issues at all with that either.

People say the build quality is crap but I'm fairly sure the front "plate" where the key indentations are is plastic, but the way the plastic is molded gives it a very rigid feel , and the underneath is plastic. You can bend it every which way and it doesn't budge.

My thoughts exactly. I am using the my laptop right now and I type at the same speed.

I got the idea from my mom because I guess we would be considered an "apple family" because everyone has a macbook. My mom got an apple keyboard for her desk at work and I thought it was a good idea.

find a level desk and put that monitors side by side. or get a triple monitor stand if it has a vesa mount.

And that apple sticker just makes everything 5 times 'better'...LOL :D

I had the monitors level before. I put those shelves back on the desk so that I could move them out of my peripheral vision. Have 3 monitors while playing games gets a little distracting. I put the monitors up like that on purpose so that I could still have the extra screen space and have plenty of desk space for other things. Have 3 monitors all next to each other makes things REALLY CROWDED

The only person I know that has the skill/knowhow/materials/equipment is out of town for the next week. I might see if he is up for it when he gets back but most likely I will just get one from tigerdirect because they have a store near me.

I would much rather buy a premade one instead of ghetto rigging my monitors on something I wouldn't really trust.
