Value Village Mining

Wanna get a cheap mining rig put together using the value village method. What are minimum specs for a mining machine? Also, how do I mine? I honestly don't know anything.....

Just a guy who peaked at building back in the days of the GTX 980. If you see me here, assume i have technical knowledge akin to a committed hobbyist builder back then. If something's changed, you'll need to tell me(nicely plz). I'm probably asking for help with the modern build scene since I have no clue what's going on.

First, what coin do you want to mine?

Second, mining isn't really worth it anymore, unless you want to do something like riftrcoin.

Third, PLEASE tell me you aren't mining because you think you will make megabucks. It doesn't work that way, mining is a science and it is expensive.

Is it bad that my dream setup only costs a few thousand not counting the obutto?

I was in the same boat about 2 weeks ago. Then I found Ziftrcoin, an easy to mine alt coin that has a $1 minimum value. Super easy to install and not many people are mining so you have a good chance of getting coins. I already have 27 and I have been mining for only 4 days. Heres the link https://www.ziftrcoin.com/

Just keeping this here as a I was in the same boat about 2 weeks ago. Then I found Ziftrcoin, an easy to mine alt coin that has a $1 minimum value. I was in the same boat about 2 weeks ago. Then I found Ziftrcoin, an easy to mine alt coin that has a $1 minimum value. Well it only runs off CPU and GPU so RAM isn't that important. But if you aren't using it run it at 90-99 or 100 but it is a laptop. It sorta is more luck than mining hash rate. More hashes do get you a better chance so you should join a pool.
