Hello LTT forums I have been asked to build a super low budget pc that could out due some crummy laptop, I have a budget of around 200-250$ usd. My plans are to buy a old ish prebuilt off of ebay and do some miner upgraded to it so it can play games like cs:go,Minecraft, and other easy to run games.

I was thinking about buying a pc like this and adding something like a Radeon 7770

If this is a good idea and I should go thru with it please tell me, If you have any suggestions tell me.

That might work, though I'd guess you would only get an FPS of 30-50 with the vanilla texture pack in minecraft, no clue for CS:GO.

I'd suggest getting parts cheap off craigslist (be careful with this one), or ebay, then build a PC with those parts, just make sure all the parts you get are compatible.

Specs: CPU - Intel i7 8700K @ 5GHz | GPU - Gigabyte GTX 970 G1 Gaming | Motherboard - ASUS Strix Z370-G WIFI AC | RAM - XPG Gammix DDR4-3000MHz 32GB (2x16GB) | Main Drive - Samsung 850 Evo 500GB M.2 | Other Drives - 7TB/3 Drives | CPU Cooler - Corsair H100i Pro | Case - Fractal Design Define C Mini TG | Power Supply - EVGA G3 850W

Those aren't good deals.  You can grab a R9 270 for under $150 brand new, in USD.

it was an example
