I doubt that you need the 8GB r9 290x, also I would get atleast an i5 4960k, and a 970. But what are you doing with the PC

CPU: Xeon 1230v3 - GPU: GTX 770  - SSD: 120GB 840 Evo - HDD: WD Blue 1TB - RAM: Ballistix 8GB - Case: CM N400 - PSU: CX 600M - Cooling: Cooler Master 212 Evo

This would be a very good build. The AMD cores have weak cores and the i5 would beat it in single core performance.

Black and white color scheme.

Never get a 9590. Anything over an 8320/8350 is a waste of money, and runs too hot. If you're just gaming (which I presume you are, a 290x lightning is plenty), but you could always grab the 8gb if you really wanted. You could also wait until the new 3xx cards. The i5 is better for gaming.

Gaming Build:

CPU: Ryzen 7 3800x   |  GPU: Asus ROG STRIX 2080 SUPER Advanced (2115Mhz Core | 9251Mhz Memory) |  Motherboard: Asus X570 TUF GAMING-PLUS  |  RAM: G.Skill Ripjaws DDR4 3600MHz 16GB  |  PSU: Corsair RM850x  |  Storage: 1TB ADATA XPG SX8200 Pro, 250GB Samsung 840 Evo, 500GB Samsung 840 Evo  |  Cooler: Corsair H115i Pro XT  |  Case: Lian Li PC-O11

Peripherals:

Monitor: LG 34GK950F  |  Sound: Sennheiser HD 598  |  Mic: Blue Yeti  |  Keyboard: Corsair K95 RGB Platinum  |  Mouse: Logitech G502

Laptop:

Asus ROG Zephryus G15

Ryzen 7 4800HS, GTX1660Ti, 16GB DDR4 3200Mhz, 512GB nVME, 144hz

NAS:

QNAP TS-451

6TB Ironwolf Pro

A sound card is never necessary unless you want really high noise from your PC. And 290x isn't really that worth it.

i7's aren't that necessary for gaming, if your only use for this is gaming then step down to the 4690k. However if you wish to do video editing etc. Upgrade to 16GB of RAM and keep the 4790k

I agree with the haswell build suggestion, but I would strongly suggest 16gb of ram instead of 8.

Main System: [Windows 10 Pro] [Core i7 5960x] [Asus Rampage V Extreme] [32GB 2400mhz G.Skill Value] [Corsair AX1200] [RXT 2080 Super] [Corsair H100i] [Thermaltake Core P3]

The motherboard does not support the cpu. It does have decent sound, as do most enthusiast level motherboards. So the sound card is not really necessary. As others have pointed out the 8GB Ri 290X probably is not needed. What monitor(s) will you be using? Nice case, excellent psu.

80+ ratings certify electrical efficiency. Not quality.

You are spending money in the wrong places with that spec. An i5 4690K is a much better option.

The FX-9590 isn't a very good cpu.

Could you please use pcpartpicker.com.

What monitor(s) will you be using?

The psu is too large.

An ssd should be included.

As others have advised, the cpu is not a very good choice for a gaming system.

This is much better.

You don't need an i7 or 16GB Ram at the moment for gaming, but you can fit it in your budget if you want it.

The 850W psu is enough for a 2nd R9 290X.

I would suggest a Freesync Monitor for gaming on. They should be out fairly soon. Then go with a cheaper monitor for your non gaming screen.
