Hi there I need help with this decision: should I go with a custom loop or a closed loop, I am wondering this because a custom loop is more efficient than a closed loop but I dont live in the U.S.A, I am from Latin America so maybe will be hard for me to change the water and get the parts, in the other hand i have closed loop, i dont need to worry about changing the water, but is not that efficient (I think) what should I do?

If you have any reccomendation or anwser to my problem just tell me.

-Thanks   :)

The reason to build a custom loop is because you already have top of the line hardware and have money to blow on a fun project.

So if you're computer is already maxed out, and you have $500-$1000~ you want to waste on a fun project, then custom loop. Otherwise a high-end air cooler or 240mm+ AIO.

unless youre doing it for aesthetics, a closed loop will be more than enough

Getting the hardware locally always depends on vendors shipping options.
If there's no domestic vendors, you probably will want to get a quote either directly from the brand you choose or a retailer that ships internationally.

AIO cooler are Good looking/easy to mount/minimal maintenance/sufficient performance.

Custom loops are DIY looing/can be easy or hard to mount/needs periodic maintenance/overkill performance/can keep the performance while being silent

I believe most people build custom loop for the very last option, performance+silent.

If you don't care for aesthetics, a large tower cooler will do just as good as a AIO tho...

As others have mentioned:

Closed Loop: For someone who wants a decent looking solution, that cools well.

Custom: For someone with MUCH more money to blow, and enjoys spending lots and lots of time tinkering and messing around.
