Network Adapter?

Network drivers are on a CD usually included with the motherboard or a POS pre-made pc.  You can get updated drivers from the motherboard manufacturer's website or if you have some sort of HP or the like POS you can get the updated drivers from the pc manufacturer's site.

Hello

 

I was thinking about drivers and software for PC components, and most of them seemed pretty easy to find, but I couldn't quite understand why/where/how to get the correct/desired Network Adapter(s)? As you can tell, I'm a bit lost. Please help!

 

(Sadly, if it is hardware specific, I do not have a motherboard etc. to help)
