I don't think nvidia would ever enter the CPU market. If they wanted their gpus to be integrated into CPUs they would probably try and partner with Intel

With how far Intel, and even AMD, are in with their processors, I don't forsee creating CPU's be a viable option for them, and they should continue to focus on creating good GPUs.

Why? Nvidia likes money!

Because that's not what they are about. They are all about GPUs and other gaming peripherals. Not stuff that an average Joe would ever want

Then will intel use Nvidia's architecture to surpass amd in the igpu side by paying some rights fee to nvidia?

Umm partnership between them is a long shot!

Why? Just because Intel has their own iGPUs doesn't mean they wouldn't partner with Nvidia or another GPU manufacturer. If they partnered Nvidia's GPUs would get more market share and more people using their product. For Intel they could advertise their APUs as having great features such as PhysX and gaming grade iGPUs, something Intel HD graphics can't really say.

tbh that's pretty much a partnership,

they might team up to create some processors to beat some of AMD's APUs, but I mean its not the world vs AMD, they aren't a TERRIBLE company.

Not really! If they *could* manage to make a 980m type gpu on the cpu I don't think that even many enthusiasts would hold back on buying such a product!

Amd isn't a terrible company but some healthy competition is never bad

So they could get pretty close to powerful discrete gpus in the next iteration?

probably. I could see the X1 being used in laptops at one point (or future chips)

or a tablet convertible
