Which specific cards are you looking at?

If it's anything like the 7970 then the black edition just has a better stock core clock, might be other differences though.

The black edition has 1050MHz core clock and the standard has 1000MHz core clock. The black edition also seems to have LEDs unlike the standard.

Core clock is increased by 50MHz on the Black Edition.

Thats it? I thought there was some other difference. Thanks!
