This keeps happening and I keep thinking I fixed it but it just reappears. I just started up my laptop with the SD card in. (It has a couple programs and is used for storage). Right off the bat, if I right click anything on the SD card, I do not have the option to delete files. I can run programs from it fine. In order to get the option to delete files, I have to eject it, put it back in, wait for it to ask me to scan for errors, and click on yes, scan. If I tell it to not scan, it will not let me delete files/folders. Also, when the scan is finished it always says there were no problems found.

That was the only Problem I was able to re-create just now. However I often get other random errors as well.

One example, SD card is in, I try to start a program and it says there is no disk in drive "e" which is the letter designated for my SD card. I check explorer and it shows the SD card is there but there is no icon for it.

Another example: Sometimes the delete option is there. I press delete, it wants me to confirm and I click yes. I then am greeted with "The Semaphore timeout period has expired" and it won't delete.

My last option right now is to just format the SD card. But it's rarely used in the first place and would take forever to get the files back onto it. What other kinds of problems does this sound like?
