Good FPS but games do not look smooth.

Never in my life have I seen a smooth game without vsync on unless it's pushing past 200fps. All vsync does it output a frame to the monitor at the same time the monitor refreshes. When you don't have it locked you are getting multiple frame injected to each refresh. The screen tearing becomes a factor and you also lose that frame buffer, so if your gpu does not output a frame or skips it you will feel microstutter. Going beyond 60 will also not actually give you more than 60fps in front of your eyes because you will only see as much as the monitor can output. So if it's not that than I can't possibly help you.

That's really supprising to me because EVERY pc I have seen other than mine looks smooth as butter at 60+ without V-sync. Even with mine it is not normal, I can still see some of the porblem, and I have around 0.5s of input lag. Thanks though :)

I would actually advise resetting things to defaults. it should work fine at default settings.

This is exactly my point! At 60+ fps all the time, it should look smooth without V-sync or tripple buffering, motion blur, or any other setting. That is why it is a problem that I am trying very hard to fix.

Yeah man, I have no idea. I have an ips monitor which isn't (gaming quality input lag) and I run at 60fps which is 16.7ms and the difference in lag between that and my old 1ms monitor with vsync off and 200+fps is almost non existant. I definite play better online with my new monitor with higher lag because the ultra wide helps more than input because there is almost no difference lol.

if you run a 60hz monitor, set a frame cap at 65FPS with MSI afterburner or similar...it helped me with smoothness a ton.

Also make sure you have the latest driver installed for your GPU...not some crap from a CD or something...
