Go into the BIOS and look for something about RAM. It will say what type you have

Assuming it boots, use the above methods. If it doesn't just open the case and pull out a stick, should be a sticker right on it with speeds and type.

I have this old Cp that i didnt build and i want know if it has ddr2 or ddr3

how could i check

is there any kind of program or what

You should be able to see it in CPU-Z or in your BIOS.

(Either one will work)

If you know the model number of the CPU you can just type that in Google and get the spec sheet. It should be listed how much RAM and what type does it support. Checking with CPU-Z if youc an boot the computer is also a n option.
