Using AMD CPU and Nvidia GPU together?

After taking a look at components available in my part of the world and considering my budget, I found out that the best CPU for me is the a10-6800k and for the video card would be the GTX 960.  I would just like to know if I can use both of these components without experiencing ANY incompatibilities.  The board I would be the MSI FM2-A55M-E33.  My PSU is 500W.  Lastly, can I use all of the features of both products without any problems?

There is absolutely no problem , I am running an intel cpu and AMD gpu.

You should present them to each other and make sure they are friends otherwise CPU will kill the GPU

Power wise you should be fine as I'm running a AMD 8350 and a GTX 970 on 500W.

Question is why are you using an APU? Have you looked at an Intel processor or maybe a FX6300?
