gtx970 sli and a Quadro for 10bit displays will it work

Both support 10 bits.

yellow i want gtx970 in sli and a Quadro for movie on a 10 bit screen, so will my plan work? or do someone have a better plan?

 

mt spc:

motherbord: Gigabyte ga-z87x-ud4h

 

cpu: I7 4770k 4.4ghz

ram: 16gb ram corsair lp someting

gpu + plan: one ASUS GeForce GTX 970 STRIX 4GB DirectCU II OC (will buy one more next month)

and some Quadro if it will work on a 4x pci lane? only for 10bit color support no 3D rendering

screen: have two asus pa248q will buy a asus pa279q if this is even a possibility

A quadro on 4xpcie will be hard, gtx cards dont run on x4 lanes, quadros probably dont aswell. I dont know about 10bit color support on a gtx 970.

Both support 10 bits.

oh i did not know that that makes is so much easyer :D do i need a dvi displayport hdmi cable or do all of them support 10bit
