So I will be doing wedding photography for my mates brother and it will be my first time shooting a wedding and don't know how much to charge. I have been doing photography for about 2 years now and have all the gear I will be there for about 9 hours or so

No I do it as a hobby but I do it quite a lot

 

If you aren't established as a professional... I wouldn't charge more than 60% what the people who do this all the time do it for. You have to work up a proper portfolio, and no matter how much you do it, no one is quite as good as they think they are.

The projects never end in my line of work.

Maybe it's the moment to try to see if it can be your work.

 

Take it as a challenge and a professional work even if you didn't do it yet.

 

For the charge it's simple evaluate the cost, the selling prices of locals and place yours.
