Hey there im wondering if there is any benefit in changing from my current HDMI cable to DISPLAYPORT i tried to Google for some benefits but have not really found what im wanting to know such as will i get any change in Performance such as less of a delay more finer detail considering im only running a single 1080p display the monitor im currently using is a ASUS VX279 IPS 2ms and it runs at 1920x1080 i mostly play FPS games and some RPGs so will changing from HDMI to DisplayPort make any difference to any thing or dose it just add more features

if this is any use for some reason

System Specs:
CPU:I7 4790k 4.2Ghz
Gpu:Palit Jetstream Geforce Gtx 770 4GB
Ram:16GB 1600Mhz

unless you have a 4k monitor running at 144hz. then no. but display port does have a slightly nicer connector.

there's no benefit from DP at 1080p 60hz.

you'll want displayport if you plan on using higher resolutions or refresh rates.

INTEL CORE I5 4670K | NVIDIA GTX 980 | NOCTUA NH-L9i | GIGABYTE GA-Z97X-SLI | KINGSTON 120GB V300
