hdmi 2.0

Go to solution Solved by Glenwing,

Yes, it supports 4K 60Hz.

10-bit color at 4K 60Hz requires subsampling (4:2:0) which means worse image quality, but that's not something you need to worry about. 8-bit color is the standard for consumer content.

What’s new in HDMI 2.0?

HDMI 2.0 significantly increases bandwidth to 18Gbps and includes the following advanced features:

  • Resolutions up to 4K@50/60 (2160p), which is 4 times the clarity of 1080p/60 video resolution, for the ultimate video experience

display port 1.2 is the current standard for 4k gaming at 60fps. for a 30hz monitor standard hdmi is fine.
