at tis point i own a razer blackwidow ultimate silent  (2014) and a ducky shine 3, 4, and ducky 0 but my friends still think rubber domes are superior

Each to their own - whichever they perfer is gonna be the best for them.

I prefer rubber domes, too, It comes down to opinion really.

You like mechanical I guess. Your friends really like rubber domes.
