£500 build

1. Location - UK, Budget- £500

2. A friend that wants a PC who has £500 to spend and understands this isn't going to allow him to run new games at max settings but just wants me to get the best that his money can buy from a gaming point of view.

3. Single 2k monitor.

4. I do not need to purchase any peripherals.

5. Building a brand new system for a friend.

this is just a preference, but seagate or wd over hitachi too.

I would definately go intel if you want the pc to last longer than 2 years. I would try find like a 770/280x that should run the majority of things on max. Just cheap out on everything else :P
