I just wanted to ask around if a Quick-Disconnect can be used as a fill port. with my h-240 the res fill port is at the side. so if i fill it up it take forever and its hard to get it 100% full so i wanted to add a small tube and then add a Quick-Disconnect and some more tube that i can then fill up as  let it bleed. when its filled up then just remove the Quick-Disconnect and leave the other part of the Quick-Disconnect inside. Just wanted to ask if it will be strong enough not to leak from the Quick-Disconnect when its running.

No it cant. Both sides of the quick-disconnect need to connect to each other before they open and allow coolant through.

Also not to mention the water pressure in your loop will more than likely cause it to go everywhere :D

that was the idea so i can use a tube + the other side of the quick-disconnect to fill it and then disconnect it when i am done so.
