Is there any freeware that will let me plot CPU temp vs time? im about to swap thermal pastes and I want to see if the arctic silver (usually overpriced imho) that I picked up at Radio Shack (RIP) is any better than the generic one that I have on right now.

A pen and a sheet of paper.

Just do a stress test with the old thermal paste, swap, do a stress test with the new thermal paste, and compare the results.

boom. Or you could be like me, and create a chart in Excel or OneNote on my tablet and record it there  :P
