Please disregard, I solved it by changing the AGP mode from auto to 4x, and disabling fastwrite

I'm currently working on my LMC, and my FX5500 (256MB) is constantly locking up every time I try to run the Lubuntu 10.04 off the live CD. At the moment I am having to use the Diamond Stealth SIII (32MB) that it was supposed to replace so everything else is working fine (apart from the greenish yellow screen-the SIII has always had issues). Is there anything I can do to get the FX 5500 working correctly as the SIII is nearly intolerable?

Glad you got it sorted.

Maximums - Asus Z97-K /w i5 4690 Bclk @106.9Mhz * x39 = 4.17Ghz, 8GB of 2600Mhz DDR3,.. Gigabyte GTX970 G1-Gaming @ 1550Mhz
