500€ (Gaming?) PC Build

Hey,

I want to build a low budget gaming PC for my brother.

Budget & Location

The price of the system should be in the Range of 400-500€. I am living in Austria  ^_^

Aim

The system is going to be used for pretty much anything. From web browsing to gaming.

I think he will also want to edit some videos he captured with his PS4 (mostly putting together the clips)

Here is a link to one of his videos:

Monitors

I am sure, he will be using one 1920x1080 Monitor. Maybe he will add one extra to the system later.

Would there be any Monitor which you could recommend (not in the budget)?

Peripherals

No peripherals are required for this Build.

He will be using my "old" Windows 7 Pro license.

Here are the Parts I am thinking of:

The Links lead to the shop I am planing to buy the components.

I have already made some good experiences with this shop in the past.

Why Intel, not AMD?

I choose a Intel CPU because of the Hyper Threading for the video editing.

Another reason is the upgradabilty up to an i7.

I thought, that CPU is good enough for the games he will be playing.

(don't know about Far Cry 4)

The GTX 750 Ti is in the list because it is cheap, and has 2GB of GDDR5 RAM.

I plan tu use Kingston RAM because the Kingston RAM i bought 5 years ago is still running
and I think they make some good RAM.

I don't know about the HDD, it is just the cheapest 1 TB drive in this shop.

I still have my old case staying around and catching dust, so i will use that one.

For the PSU i will be using one of the two I have lying around:

  • techsolo TP730
  • be quiet! BQT L7-430W

I don't know if i can use the be quiet, because it only has a 4-Pin CPU Power.

What I don't like on the tecsolo PSU is the noise it makes sometimes, i think ther is something wrong with that fan, I am going to test this and maybe replace it. (i think it is a standard 120mm fan)

Please tell me, what you think i could make better, because I have not much experience

building such a low budget PC (mostly building in the 1000+€ range).

I have also attached the list of Components with the price of today.

I hope i made clear what i need and please excuse any spelling or grammar mistakes,
english is not my native language.  :)

Thank you

That looks good, But id recommend the R7 260x It has about the same performance(Often slightly more) And are usually cheaper.

CPU, Motherboard, RAM and the HDD are fine, but i would go with a R7 260X (2GB Edition) cause it's slightly faster. (Costs about 100€ in Germany) (Don't know exact pricing for other countries).

I don't know, if the 4pin at the bequiet will work, but i think nothing should get damaged if you just try.

Sorry for my bad english (I'm German)

Nice build, I agree with the other two comments go for the R7 260x or if you spend another 10€ and get the R9 270x(amazing bang for buck) then that's a nice build for the budget!

Also a warning as haswell refresh cpus like the i3 4150 sometimes may not work on b85, h81,h87 or z87 boards. These boards out of the box support haswell cpus but have to have their bios updated in order to work with haswell refresh cpus. Get an i3 4130 (no difference in performance between it and the 4150) to ensure that it will work out of the box :)

Ok, thanks for that tip

EDIT:

Is there any other difference between the i3 4130 and the i3 4150 except the 100MHz of clock frequency?
