What's the cause I had to refresh PC to last restore point to fix this. Just want to know how to fix this as I was about RMA thinking it broked.

Bascily what I did was i did a clean update of  the driver from 344.75 to 347.45 or whatever it is and restarted.

Upon restarting  the installation was stuck on checking system compatibility and stayed on that continues loop, just to find out out that GPU-Z, nVidia inspector etc was not detecting my GPU at all and was also not displayed in device management

Also before I did a system restore I connect my old HD 7950 and it worked and displayed correctly, also after restore the pc before I installed the drivers for my NVidia card it displayed as Microsoft basic adaptor

The drivers are no installed. "Basic Adaptor" means the drive has not been installed.
