Hey everyone, as the title would lead you to believe, I am a first time builder but not completely out of the loop with what's going on in computers. I currently only have a Macbook Pro which isn't really doing it for me. I only have 4 gigs of RAM and it looks like a bit of a bottleneck and I've been looking to put together a tower for quite a while. I read the "please read before posting" thread and put this together:

- Budget: $700 (Not too flexible. College kid…)
- Zip Code or Location: Fl, USA
- Specific Use: General Use, Light Video Editing, Some Gaming

- Any preferred components?: No
- Any spare parts you can re-use?: No
- Overclocking your processor?: Maybe? (help/ suggestions requested)
- Need an Operating System?: Yes
- Need a Monitor? / Mouse? / Keyboard?: No/No/No
- Need a Wireless Card or Adapter?: No
- Need Another Component? (Specify): No

Other Useful Info

- Preferred Case Features (Ex: Color, Side Window, Flashy): Window
- Number of Monitors: Currently 1, eventually 2
- Other Info?:

Thanks preemptively. I'm an avid LTT watcher and forum lurker and really appreciate what goes on here.

Note: both require you to purchase Windows directly from Microsoft as a Student, which shoudln't be a problem considering that's what you are.
