That 290 will be heavily bottlenecked by the G3258 in AAA games. I've personally tried this config myself.

No it's not. Even overclocked, minimum frame rates in AAA games dip horribly and there is very noticeable stuttering.

Also, a lot of games are not supporting CPUs with 2 cores. You have to have a Core i3 or higher to play many new games. (Including GTA V)
