it's an innovative and interesting device, but the thermal throttling issues that seem to plague it and the inconsistent benchmarks put me off, along with the price I expect it to be.

rooted one should be very, very good performer. Android Authority said there were no throttles in their device. It will be inbetween G3 and original G Flex'es price, so quite cheap in Latvia

And even being the horribly optimized OS that Android is, it's one of the very few that have beat out the iPhone 6+ in benchmarks.

I think it was pocket now had this throttle a number of times when turning the brightness up. Also, the g flex 1 was pretty expensive in the UK, and the G3 is still decently pricy depending on where you shop, so I don't have much hope for the Gflex 2.
