What do you guys think? I know i may have a bottleneck in the CPU with the GPU i bought but at that price? wasn't going to pass it up. I plan on upgrading to Intel i5 or an i7. Im also planning on overclocking the CPU to about 4.5GHz and maybe overvolt it also, haven't thought that second part out yet. But i think that will help lighten the possible bottleneck

Anyways everone please comment telling me what you think and what kinds of gaming performance ill be getting with it.

It depends on what games you play. But when you overclock the g3258 it can be a great gaming chip and even better when you look at the price.

But from what I have heard people get around 4.6 ghz with the stock cooler. So the aftermarket cooler isn't needed. But it defiantly won't hurt.

Looks good to me!

CPU intensive games will suffer though. Like for example Battlefield 4 or the more recent Far Cry 4 (although FC4 was probably due to poor optimization). Other then that, you should have no problem running most games!

To be fair the 750W costs the same amount as the 550W in your build...

Core i7 4820K  |  NH-D14 | Rampage IV Extreme | Asus R9 280X DC2T | 8GB G.Skill TridentX | 120GB Samsung 840 | NZXT H440  |  Be quiet! Dark Power Pro 10 650W

I chose that psu because id have head room to overclock everthing and headroom to beacle too upgrade my build latter on down the road.

The G3258 when over clocked can out perform the i3 in most applications, at least thats what ive herd. Correct me if im wrong tho.

I dont plan ok playing BF4 mostly because im not the biggest fan of that or even COD lol. Mostly indie and oldergames for now,
