I think they are pretty good for the money, and are very comfortable to wear for long hours of gaming.

I'd say you hit the nail on the head.   The previous generation Audio System is on Amazon for $179.  That's the one I have and it's brilliant.    The new model is for 2015, so the $179 set isn't exactly "old."
