So I bought an SSD a couple of weeks ago, Intel 730, and everytime I start uo my PC is shows this screen (pic related)

when I shut down it says it's installing updates.

Does anyone know what the probelm is?

Windows update being Windows update. Its annoying, very annoying, especially when it doesn't work correctly. Just give it some time to complete the updates and do multiple reboots.

Let it install the service pack and the 100 million (not really) updates to follow.

Then on Patch Tuesday (second Tuesday of each month) there's more.

Our Grace. The Feathered One. He shows us the way. His bob is majestic and shows us the path. Follow unto his guidance and His example. He knows the one true path. Our Saviour. Our Grace. Our Father Birb has taught us with His humble heart and gentle wing the way of the bob. Let us show Him our reverence and follow in His example. You installed Intel Rapid Storage Technology, right?

My account is almost entirely dormant. Hope you all are having a grand time. Many years of fun were had here.

It started normally w/o the service oack but then half way through an anime episode it restarted to do the service pack

Then I think you have not done the 190 updates. Click on the start button (left bottom of screen) and the 'windows update'. Let it search for updates, and instqll the updates. It will take a while, and it may get stuck somewhere at the last updates, then just force a turn off (power button) and turn it on again, and again go to windows update, search for them, and install all.
