Worst virus encounters?

My mums friends netbook managed to get a boot sector virus a few years back it was such a bitch.

I had a nasty encounter back in the XP days with the "Windows Anti-Virus" virus. I was only 6-8 years old? Thankfully my dad is tech savvy and got rid of it with ease.

 

You know how your parents talk about the birds and the bees? Well my dad talked to me about Internet security and what sites are safe or not...

My parents are a lot less helpful, the first pc game we got was the orange box(bundle i guess) and it was on disc but we cant use it because father says its a virus.

When I was smaller, some MSN accounts of my friends were hacked and were sending messages with some strange link in them.

Stupid me decided to click on it and downloaded something, pop up ads were everywhere! Google redirected to some strange thing and pop ups of adult material came out of no where.

Never again. I had to reinstall Windows because I didn't know what else to do.

That happened to by brother when he discovered limewire if anyone remembers that. Anyways my parents slapped the shit out of him as they didnt like there son watching that stuff.

I'm rooting out the FBI MoneyPak virus on my wife's computer right now. GRRRR.   :angry:
