I'm not sure that it's because of my video card or my monitor or window, but my screen sometimes randomly goes black for few seconds and turn back on again for no reason. I'm pretty sure that none of my hardware are toasted. Does anyone have this kind of issue?

this is going to be ironic , but i just had that happen to me when i was typing up a response , in my case it was signaling there was something up with my gpu (turned out a part of the pcb came unsoldered ) 

 

but it could also be a driver issue

the current list of dead cards is as follows 2 evga gtx 980ti acx 2.0 , 1 evga gtx 980 acx 2.0 1600mhz core 2100mhz ram golden chip card ... failed hardcore , 1 290x that caught fire , 1 hd 7950 .

so is there any way to check the GPU health that it works well?

not entirely sure , i tore mine apart after getting pissed off at diamond mm for refusing my rma request and discovered the problem myself 

 

perhaps someone else will know better then me
