Mid Ranged Gaming/Workstation PC

Go to solution Solved by nj4ck,

XTankSlayerX I'm from the Philippines and I'm actually trying to figure out what hardware the majority of the PC community would consider to be 'mid-range' as nj4ck , Gamer1406 and TokyoSin clearly pointed out that it varies from which country or state of living you are in.

As for the budget, lets just say it's about $500 (Php22,105) to $1000 (Php 44,210). I'm still saving money though since the exchange rates are so unpredictable and still I'm in the process of checking out which of the computer stores sell specific hardware at cheaper prices.

I guess with the budget finally revealed, you guys could help me with the necessary hardware for my future workstation/gaming build.

its kind of hard to put together a build since I have no knowledge as to what the best online stores are and where to get the best prices in the Philippines. Nevertheless, here's an idea of what you could get for about Php 35,000:

Hello guys,

Would like hear your opinion as to what hardware to purchase for a mid ranged gaming/workstation.

Work consists of CAD / Geo Mapping / Video editing & rendering and probably a personal cloud server.

Games would include BF4 and still looking forward to trying out some of the latest games.

I'm on a budget though, but I couldn't quite come up with a specific range.  :D

"Mid Range" is different for everyone for example mine would be $800 -$1500 for most people that may be already high end. so a budget would be VERY helpful but here's my rig which In my opinion is mid - high end ($1500) i5 4690k, GTX 970, 8GB 1866mhz ram, 128GB ssd, the rest would only be the stuff for you(I have a 1TB hard drive but some people need more)

I would say this but change the card to Zotac GTX 970 (aftermarket) (around a 3000 peso difference)

Change the case to any other higher end case

Better mobo if you care about bios experience (msi and asus are both good at uefi bios if you can find one i didn't see any in the website)

SSD please get 60gb if you only need for the os 128gb if you want more storage. more than 128gb is expensive for me (this makes boot times really fast once you have it no going back to hard drives ;)  )

1TB hard drive I would recommend but this is just personal preference

Though with all of this it would be pushing the limit of your budget
