hello everyone


i have a bother i want to buy a  pc and well it's confusing i only have about 1k gathering i live in australia and the dollars crap i have a build but its very cheap and i don't think it will properly work so ive been looking a pre builts and upgrading them and i found a deal on a dell inspiron 3000 computer and i will add a better psu on it ssd case and ill be giving it a gtx 970 because i have the money if i go this way the processor is better much better same ram same amount of hdd space and a free copy of windows 8.1that i would either have to pay $110 for blowing my budget or get a crack and i dont want to do hat so yeah i my question is i know its worth it but i don't know what power supply the dell already has does it have a normal sized motherboard that i can put in a case and can i turn of its integrated graphics and put in proper card and even if i can is there a pcie x16 slots please im sorry for all the questions but please i need help cheers lucien

Yeah, honestly I wouldn't spend nearly 500 AUD for the processor if you're going to change literally everything else.

 

If you're concerned about not being able to build a machine yourself; look into an Asus pre-built which actually uses a proper Asus Mobo, and less awful proprietary components.

You really need to find out what Motherboard is inside that thing before you buy. This will tell you if your planned future upgrades are viable or not.

Its says clearly in the specs "Integrated Graphics", it may not even have an available PCIE slot for your planned gtx 970.

 

PS: punctuation matters. I can deal with poor grammar, but I literally can't tell where one sentence ends and the next starts. It makes it hard to read your post.

If you want respect and good answers from people, I'd suggest using proper grammar and punctuation. Not only is it near impossible to read your question, but it's just straight up irritating. So please, use the English language, and if you can't, then you probably shouldn't be building computers.
