Memory usage going up slowly despite nothing changing

For the last two days I've been encountering problems where after a 4-5 hours of use, my memory tops at 99% despite only using ~4 gigs out of 16. Right now I'm tracking it and I see slowly but surely, memory usage is going up. Without doing anything, every 15-20 minutes it goes up 1%. I started tracking about 2 hours ago and I'm up from 16% to 28% and nothing has changed in terms of use. 

Any suggestions?

Use task manager to see what is using the ram, otherwise we can't do much.
