Hey Guys! So a while back I just discovered that I had a lot of games in the form of CDs which are now released in steam. I was just wondering since I've paid for the game, could I get a key for the game on steam?

Those game CDs didn't came with a key, that's why!

These are the games:

Call of Juarez (Available On Steam)

Death To Spies (" On Steam)

Postal 2 ( " On Steam, Own it)

UberSoldier I,II ( " On Steam)

Rise of Nations+All DLCs (" On Steam)

CivCity : Rome (" On Steam)

So these are the games that I have in CDs are on Steam. Could I just ask the devs of these games so that they can provide me with a free steam key?

I have proof, if you're wondering :)

Thanks!

Hmm.. I don't know.. Possibly?

Otherwise you can just add the .exe to Steam right?

Or you could rip the CD/DVD if you need that to start up

What would happen if I ripped it? How can that help? Adding .exe thing, means it'll start as a non-steam game?

Some games require the disk inserted to start up.

Later games (like.. 2007+) don't require that most of the time, but some do.

And yes, that would mean you start it as a non-Steam game. I guess that is not cool, since you won't get achievements and such..
