As the others said, check the manual. It may say on the board though

 

A lot of mobos that I've seen use slots 2+4, then 1+3 so my bet would be that.

Hi all!

The mobo is Asus Z97 Deluxe.

I have 2 RAM modules of 8GB each.

I jave seen on YouTube people using A1-B1 as well as A2-B2.

Witch ram slots should i use?

Usually it's color coded, butr read the manual to be sure

The user guide of the asus z97 deluxe recommends the A2 and B2 slots,

 

The same thing applies to the Asus Maximus VII hero according to its manual,

yet in the PCDIY youtube channel "Build A Z97 Gaming PC From Start To Finish - July 2014"

No. If you use same color slots, no matter which color they are, you are using them in Dual Channel. Using two different color slots makes ram run in Single Channel and having little less performance. Usually people use 1st and 3rd but sometimes using air cooler means that you need to clear first slot, and use 2nd and 4th.

Check the manual, put them in the same color, shouldnt matter too much otherwise
