I really wanna go full water cooling loop for my machine. "Comp in sig" But the R4 is a compact case for what I have in it. Really only room left for rads is the top and front. to get my H110 in it with a push/pull setup, I had to drill a few holes and offset my rad to the far side of the mobo to clear the heatsinks and power for the mobo. Similar to what the R5 has now but mines offset even a little more. Stays nice and cool till I put the side case on, I got two 780Ti's, ones a MSi twin frozer OC ed, and the other a gigabyte WF OC ed. They put out a ton of heat and the only out for heat is threw the rad in the top. 70C on my 9590. It's 56C with the side case off and the same gaming load.

So What I'm thinking is twin 280mm x 80mm thick Rads in push/pull with sp140 corsair fans. I've made the room for them to fit with no drive bays in the front. A pump/res combo in the top two 5 1/4 bays. Is this gonna be enough to cool two 780ti's OC and a 9590. It will get a third 780ti soon.

Rule of thumb is 120mm per component and you can add more than that but the loss is usually not worth the money unless you want to have absolute silent computing.

Here's a good analysis of it:

It's far from compact.

I would advise put as much rad as you can in the case due to your system

very interesting. very

Personally I suggest rads greater than a single since you get better value due to initial manufacturing costs, but since you have a very high TDP CPU it wouldn't be bad to have dual 280mm, they will be more than enough but for absolute silence and low temps more is always the way to go as long as you have the room.

Also I suggest if you have the room to not go with a bay res they tend to be nosier and not as effective in bleeding loops.

go with 120 per component minimum, get 140's or duals. triples or quads if you have the room.
I'm guessing that your choice to go full custom means you don't mind to spend some money. Don't go full retard, just get as much as you're able to afford.

Welp

In my experience Corsair fans are overpriced for their performance, they aren't bad though, If you want premium fans look to Noctua, they offer some of the best fans on the market for a minor price increase over Corsair fans.
