Thanks for stopping by! So basically I have a GTX 645 OEM GPU in my Dell system and I have been overclocking this card for a while now and have been VERY happy with my results (+160 Core/ +500 Mem. all at max of 59°C! :D ). But I can't change the voltage or power limit slider in MSI Afterburner. Is this since I'm using a pre-built system w/ BIOS limitations and stuff or just because the GPU doesn't physically have and other connections other than the PCIe slot for more power? Any help would be great! Thanks! :)

Likely, it's due to both factors. You don't want to overdraw a PCI-E Slot or else you risk blowing out your board, meanwhile the BIOS is probably locked down to prevent tampering/tinkering that can break the card.

Ok, that's what I thought. Thanks for the super fast reply! :D Oh and by the way, when I get my new computer parts (including new motherboard), will this unlock these features and would it be a bad idea to just up the power limit? I heard that it would not hurt the GPU, but like you said I guess this could also blow out the PCIe slot. What do you think? Thanks again! :)

I think with a higher end board even if you turned up some voltage sliders on a 645 you wont pull too much power to blow the board, it's a fairly low power card. On another note, I used that card for a little bit and DAMN was I impressed! So many games still ran great on that little card at 1080p! Always ran really nice and cool too, despite it being single slot, I would put that in any mid range low power gaming PC for sure.

Desktop: i9 11900k, 32GB DDR4, 4060 Ti 8GB 🙂

I know right!?! It's actually a fairly good card! And great at overclocking...  ;)  Anyway so you really don't think it wouldn't draw too much power from the PCIe slot? I mean like, would there be any way to tell if I was pushing it too far for power? I would rather not destroy a brand new board when I get it. Thanks for the reply!  :)
